TDAC is proud to announce a new open call for artists of all mediums in the Columbia Gorge Region. With the diminished opportunities for artists unaffiliated with galleries, we are excited to provide artists from the area a space to exhibit their work collectively. We are looking for emerging and established artists to showcase the talent that exists in the region. The represented geographic range is Troutdale to Goldendale within 100 miles North and South of the Columbia River. This includes artists who have strong connections to the Gorge, ie. resided or consider it a place of origin. Submissions will be accepted online via Cafe. Work will be selected by TDAC Staff. Nancy Houfek Brown will judge the work to select a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize. Your entry fee will be pooled for cash prizes which will range between $100-250 depending on participation.

Exhibition Dates: September 2 – October 1

Opening: September 2 5:30-7:30

We are looking for career based photographers, who have a personal body of work in progress that need support to bring the project to fruition.

As an artist you must have at least 5 years of working and exhibition experience. Your CV will determine your eligibility.

We would like to see original bodies of work, cohesively telling a narrative or story. This work could have been started before the pandemic and became stuck because assistance was no longer available. However, pandemic related work is not part of this grant platform.

This grant is about supporting photographers who need HELP to finish their project and will NOT be awarded towards the creation of a new project.
