IRINA is a singer-songwriter based in Portland, Oregon. Originally Russian from a country called Kazakhstan, she moved to the US in 2011 and started writing songs in both languages. With her first songs written back in 2010, she learned a guitar and booked her first paid musical solo gig in 2015.

Influenced by John Lennon, Lana del Rey, Johny Cash, Frank Sinatra, Irina pays much attention to the lyrics and melodies. The words naturally and artfully entwine with suitable melodies. Irina’s arrangement and accompaniment are mainly acoustic at her shows and recordings. Only one or a few instruments surround her voice to preserve the rawness and awaken one’s inner world.
